Ask in plain language
Type a name and get court records and news coverage, summarized, with the source of every item. Results are saved to the case so you can find them again.
Searches cover court records and news today. More sources are planned.
Founding-member beta, by invitation
Search court records and news in plain language, keep evidence with a fingerprint you can re-check, track your time and expenses, and write up your findings. All in one place, on your phone or your computer.
Built for solo investigators and small firms who are tired of juggling several logins and a spreadsheet. Law enforcement? Reserve an early-access spot for your agency.
Every feature below works now. Where something is still planned, we say so.

Photos and documents get a SHA-256 fingerprint the moment they arrive. Every open, download and check is written to a record that can't be edited, and a Verify integrity button tells you whether a stored file has changed.
This is an integrity check, not a legal chain-of-custody certification.
03
The AI reads what is in your case and drafts a summary, the open questions, and lawful next steps to consider. It also drafts a progress note for your client. You edit it; nothing is ever sent for you.
AI drafts can contain mistakes. Check them against the sources.
04
Log hours with your rate, add expenses, tick off tasks, and start from templates for intake, locates, surveillance and closing a case. Totals update as you go, with CSV and PDF exports for your invoice backup.
05
Paste results from the records tools you already subscribe to. They are saved in the case and clearly labeled as supplied by you, so a report never claims we retrieved something we didn't.
06
One click produces a PDF with your artifacts, the evidence list with fingerprints, and your time and expense totals. A second printable workbook PDF adds the summary, tasks and itemized time.
07
The licensed owner is verified once, then adds employees. Everyone signs in with two steps: a password plus an authenticator app, or a passkey such as Face ID.
08
Use it in your phone's browser in the field and on a computer for downloading and printing. Recently opened cases are kept on your device for weak-signal moments. An iPhone app is on the way.

Something built for agencies is on the way. We're working with a small group of early testers who will shape it and get access before anyone else.
Places are limited. Leave your details below and we'll contact you personally as soon as a spot opens.
Prefer email? Write to frank@investisearch.com. Please don't send case details or personal information about any person.
Licensed private investigators and the people they authorize. We check the owner's license before an account can be used. If your state doesn't license investigators, tell us about your business and we'll review it.
Today, court filings from CourtListener and news coverage. The assistant also searches records you have saved in your own account. We'll add more sources over time and say so here when we do.
Treat them as a head start, not a finding. The AI can be wrong, so each draft says where its statements come from and reminds you to check them. You decide what goes into a report.
No. It records a fingerprint when a file arrives and lets you check that the stored copy hasn't changed since. It can't show what happened to a file before it was uploaded, and it isn't a certification of chain of custody.
It's planned. For now InvestiSearch works in your phone's browser and on any computer, with the same account.
Not yet, but it's coming. We're opening to private investigators first. Reserve an early-access spot and we'll contact you when a place opens.

InvestiSearch is in early access. We read every message.
